The official service is selected by default and its configuration is downloaded at startup. Verify a custom API before enabling it. Both may be selected for automatic timeout failover. Official upstream keys stay on the server.
Windows screenshot OCR supports Chinese and English only. Android requires overlay permission for the half-screen panel and floating bubble.
Windows 1.5.8 and later can check for updates at startup. Check manually in Settings → About. Downloaded installers are verified with SHA256.
Quick start 1. Configure the URL, model and key under API settings. Enable the API and save. 2. Choose your interface language and target language on the main screen. 3. Enter text and press Enter to translate. Shift+Enter inserts a new line. 4. After translation, the paper-plane button receives focus. Press Enter again to run Alt+Tab → Ctrl+V → Enter. Screenshot translation Click the capture icon above the input. The tool hides while you drag to select text. Release the mouse to run local OCR and translation. Esc or right-click cancels selection. Only Chinese and English screenshots are supported. Choose Chinese + English, English or Chinese under General. Other or uncertain languages stop translation and preserve old input. No image API is needed. Images remain in memory and are not saved or uploaded. Recognized text goes to your translation API. Empty or failed OCR preserves old input; failed translation preserves recognized text. Press Enter after completion to send. Sending is never automatic. Cancelling native OCR discards its result when the current native computation finishes. Clear screenshots and tight text selections help recognition. Toolbar icons Above input: clipboard with lightning = paste and translate; language symbol = translate; trash = clear. Copy text in another app, then click paste and translate to replace the source and translate. Press Enter after completion to send. Pasting does not automatically send. Above output: two pages = copy; clock = delayed send; paper plane = switch window and send. Header: opposite arrows = switch remembered translation languages; gear = settings; side arrow = collapse. A successful translation remembers the source/target pair. Switching only changes the target and preserves text. The pair survives clearing, sending, editing and restarting. Switching makes no API call; translate again before sending. Hover over an icon for its name. Use Tab to move focus. Sending and clearing First focus the chat input in the destination app, then return here. The paper plane switches to the previous window, pastes the translation and presses Enter. The clock uses the countdown in General. Focus your chat input during the countdown. Enable Clear after sending and return to input in General for repeated translate/send cycles. After the send-key sequence, source and translation are cleared and focus returns to source. Off by default; failures and cancellation preserve text. This does not confirm message delivery. Clear cancels the current task and removes all text. Esc cancels the task only. Copy and send are disabled while translating. Changing the source or target requires another translation. Sending replaces your clipboard. The destination must support Ctrl+V and Enter. Delivery cannot be confirmed; a change of foreground window stops subsequent keys. Collapse and docking Click collapse or enable idle collapse in General. Only a circular translation icon remains. Click it to restore. Drag and release the icon to snap to the nearest screen edge. Right-click to open or exit. Your text is preserved. Automatic collapse is paused during translation, sending and settings. API fallback Configure up to three APIs. Each translation tries them in order from API 1, skipping disabled APIs. Errors, empty responses or a request timeout trigger the next API, with one attempt per API. Timeout defaults to 60 seconds; adjust it to 10–180 seconds in API settings. Thinking is disabled for Aliyun qwen3.8-27b / qwen3.8-flash translation requests. Backup providers receive the same source text. Enable only providers you intend to use. Cancelling stops fallback. Use HTTPS, or localhost HTTP. Enter a /v1 base URL or full /chat/completions URL. Keys are encrypted by Windows. No local translation history is stored.
First launch creates a random installation ID and reports device model, OS, version and the IP observed by the server. Statistics contain calls, success status, character counts and API tokens, without storing translation text or custom keys. The official service forwards text to the model API for processing.
Select clear text closely with a small margin. Version 1.5.8 improves short-word and acronym recognition.
Check your endpoint, model, API key and quota. Adjust the timeout and enable a backup API in Settings.
